Hey, people. I've been working on making my own muzzleflashes for a day and a half, and this is the result. Attached is a zip file including my own versions of the existing FPSC muzzleflashes, all made from scratch. I've also included one of my own muzzleflashes, best suited for laser weapons. The reason for this is that on this forum i've mainly been asking for help rather than giving any.

Screenie attached.

Here's the flashes themselves. To use these, the quickest way is to navigate to C:\Program Files\The Game Creators\FPS Creator\Files\gamecore. Rename the folder "muzzleflash" to "oldflash". Put my folder in their, and rename it "muzzleflash".
And Voila! all of your weapons will now be using my flashes. Any comments appreciated.

Why not try drawing the shape smaller then using a radial or gaussian blur from the centre of the image. They look a bit...cartoon right now.

Wow, I didn't think i'd get this much of a reaction. Here's one I made just about a minute ago. I've tried to make it similiar to that laser shotgun thing in the X10 vids.

Yeah, I noticed that too. It's some problem I made in photoshop because it's positioned incorrectly. I plan to fix it and post it after i'm finished with the screenshots.

Cool, the only thing I would change is make it show more of the dark blue with the streaks of the light blue, so like, reverse the colors of it.

But it is really cool, i like it. I'm just saying.

Fair enough, but all you need to do is turn them down. Also: what is "imo"?

Good Job Toasty,

These muzzle flashes could come handy for those that create custom weapons and what not.
