Dark GDK / 3D objects don't load...

Well, I can create objects *spheres, pyramids, etc*, but when i use the dbLoadObject command to load a model, the program just stays at a black screen and doesn't respond. this happens whenever i try to load an object *even in the 3dobjects sample project*. Can anyone help me with this?

If I get a problem like this I usually use dbDir() to make sure the directory path is what I think it is and the file is there.
