Hey guys, most of you probably already now me from the models I have been making in my wip threads in this forum, and I am now looking for some sort of job in a game development team.
It is not necessary to be a paid job as I don't mind doing it for free.
I can model anything non-organic, I have had some real issues with organic models and until I train a little bit more I can't do them.
But anything else is really possible for me, just give me a good idea of how you want it too look, or even better give me a reference to work from and I can do it for you and it will look great(well I am not really bragging but I don't consider myself bad either ^_^).
The reason why I am asking this is because I have been having allot of free time on my hands you know with christmas coming up and everything and for the latest time I have lost interest in modeling and that is just not allowed to happen! =P So being part of a team working for a game could really spice my free time up abit.
And by free time I mean like 5 hours aday, and on weekends I can do like 10 hours, so as you realize I have allot of time atm.

And no I do not want to do some small model request as that just seems dull, I actually want to be in a development team for a game(or a movie I guess if you are doing that =S)
I have at the moment some sort of agreement with a group but until that deal is definite I am keeping this thread open.

If you would like to see what I am capable off I guess you can check my other thread on this forum, with the weapons, but I have gotten a huge amount of experience since those and trust me, I can do allot better.

I can texture abit but aren't really good at it, so it would be more suitable for me to just model, and I am using maya for my modeling needs.

So I do hope for some responses to this thread and I shall bid you a farewell! =)

Here is our game's WIP thread http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=107269&b=8 it is a remake of a good old fashioened 2d beat em up but were making it in 3d. Right now we have 2 modellers 1 making models and the other texturing and animating them. We could use someone for modeling props or helping Wolvardo our teams character modeller to make more enemies. If u have ever played streets of rage the original there was a large variety of types of punks. And we highly want to emphasis this in SOR4 the unoficial remake. He is working on modeling Male punks, would u possibly be up to help out with level props and female punks? All the best, Beastegargoyle

Oh you mean thoose kinds of models, well I am sorry to say that those aren't quite my style (Oh I just realized how much of a arrogant basterd I just sounded...) and I am not currently considering to join your team, maybe in the future though ...

@Alucard94
I know you said no organic modelling, but what I'm looking for doesn't need to be amazing, and would probably help you get better at it It doesn't even need textures, vertex colouring will do fine, if necessary. It's just a low poly soldier model, if you're interested, you can see more here. I've tried to model it myself, but let's face it, I REALLY suck at modelling

Want to work on "Space Ponies" with me? I need some low-poly (the map is F'in huge) spaceships and possibly some low-poly space stations. It's okay if they look like crap from up close, since 99% of the time you're going to be really, really far away from them. I've got the game mostly working with placeholder art (lots of cubes and spheres)...it's a game about ferrying space crystals from the moon to the earth and ferrying hyperfuel from the earth to the moon, all with good Newtonian physics! And pirates of some kind. Also if the ships could have a "pony" theme, that would be awesome. (I'm going to enter it in the gamedev.net 4 elements contest, and if I win I'll split the prize with you!)

I might do that aersixb9, as a side job I am not that sure if I am going to do it as a full time thing.
Do you have some sort of messenger software(AIM, msn etc) so we could talk a little bit more indepth.
