The GDK uses the same scancodes as DirectX, and they are all defined as macros starting with DIK_, eg DIK_W is W, DIK_UP is up, DIK_F1 is F1, DIK_ESCAPE is escape etc.

Utility plugins collection and
http://www.matrix1.demon.co.uk for older plug-ins and example code

Guess it pays to scour the DirectX headers and stuff eh? I should really try some Native Direct-X - I'll bet I'd learn a few ways to get more out of DarkGDK - but then again - maybe not with the whole "one code base" supporting DirectX9 and 10 ...hmmm... One thing about computer boy - the technology never stops changing. this is a constant. I think it should be named DIK_ something also

iScanCode - There are many references - Plus the DirectX Header that IanM brought up is probably a GREAT way to do it - and probably the best way to stay inline with the MS DirectX stuff - code wise - help ya get familiar with some native stuff....

Off topic - I saw a commedian do a whole skit on how computers are bad - and it went into "Kill Process" "Terminate ProgMan" and many things like this =- Computer are so VIOLENT - You must KILL - Terminate - there are daemons running around everywhere - and they have virus - it was very funny.
