Hi, I've just got a Nvidia Geforce 8 8600 GT 256 MB GDDR3. It supports Direct X10, but will it work?

Yes, but don't expect to get high framerates like TGC's.

@ nj18,

Yes, the 8800GT 512MB has high framerates with no lag at all with even 30+ enemies on screen.

will an 8800 GTX have all that "50 enemies in 1 room" kinda thang.

what doesn't kill me makes me stronger; but if something kills me, I'm not that strong am I?

Just remember it like this:

Anything below 8500 = Caboom!! As the wall of your house disappears and bits of computer shower your neighbours houses.
8500 = Meh
8600 = Resonable
8800 = Daddy's Happy. Apart from the GTS, which was a bit poorer.

@All the people who ask about loads of enemies in one room

The characters are instanced so it shouldn't make a difference how many you use, within reason I guess.

@vorconan: Well no not if its just sitting there but if they all have there own AI running I think it would get ugly past 50.
