Hi I noticed that some of blender users are confused on how to use its Uv Tool well this Tutorial is to show how to use it without the need using UV Classic.
1.(Obviously)Start up blender.
2.(To just want to know on how then leave the box.) Then click on the icon on the by the left of where it says "Panels" and the left on where it shows a arrow looking down then click on the icon showing a face like this.
3.When in this option make sure you are in Uv-Face Select, by clicking on where it says Object Mode then of course select UV FACE SELECT then it should look like it has changed colour.
4.Now press the "U" button on your keyboard then it will show...
Select on the option marked with a red outline... Then hit ok.
5.On the screen on the bottom it will show that its been unwrapped. To expand the window click and drag on the line above where it says Image.
6.When Expanded click on the image option again and click on new image then changed the black to white by clicking on the colour black on it and then move the cursor it has all the way to the white, then click ok.
7.Click on the icon showing a pen(its by a icon showing a present, on its right its there.)
8.Prnt-screen the image then paste into a image software then select the white box and crop* the selection**.
*Paint you must select all of the image and then place the top right corner of the white box on the top right of the canvas. Then use the blue box on the bottom left of the canvas then drag till it meets the bottom left of the white box with Uv map.
**Paint.net you must select the box then click image-Crop to selection.
