...will do.

EDIT: No dice. Nothing has changed. Still locked out of FPSC Agent Pro.

EDIT: 24JAN08 -

Sent you serial number for the alternate machine.

Will attempt MS Office97 fix, when I return to my computer.

EDIT: Uploaded Comdlg32.ocx file for folks who're using Vista.
It's needed by FPSC Agent Pro to function properly.

Just plug it into WindowsSystem32 folder, if you don't have it there already.

Glad Seth you resolved it ..

I was just preparing the comdlg32.ocx as the last solution I didn't expect that you don't have this file on your system ..

But that's fine now .. Wish you will enjoy the FPS C Agent Pro v1.00

I will just add this note to the manual too

EDIT: I will include the comdlg32.ocx too in the setup file too

...no, this was for the other machine, which runs Vista. It's a laptop.

My primary computer is running XP, and until I try the fix is still locked
out of FPSC Agent Pro. It's my desktop.

Could you still forward a new unlock for the second machine? It'd really
come in handy, if I'm on the road.

TechNo VaLLey,

Success.

The MS Office 97 fix worked. Very perplexing, but after I reinstalled FPSC Agent Pro, it ran perfectly.

I've already migrated all of my frequently used programs to FPSC Agent Pro.

I can now open any of them in two mouseclicks, and they open much faster now, too. This is a must-have program for me.

Any chance of you adding user folder assignment options to upcoming versions?

Whether he made it fast, or it took him two years to design, I don't care. $4.95 (lunch at McDonalds) is a bargain for this tool. TechNo VaLLey's innovation, effort, and time is easily worth more than what he's asking.

Some folks might not mind spending time hunting and pecking through a small amount of icons. Not everyone has that time to waste, however.

I've got almost 30 programs at my fingertips, that I can open almost instantly, and cycle through at will. As an artist this is huge.

Thanks,

Seth Black

I am starting to use it more. I find that I have a number of folders and files open at one time, and even on two screens I can quickly get lost. When I am scripting and texturing especially, it makes it much easier to locate and open the scripts and entities folder so I can edit files or delete those pesky dbo's and bin's.

Now if we could get a little button to clear those files, that would be another big time saver.

Best.

TechNo, that was a little confusing, wasn't it?

No, I was saying that the ability to open certain folders quickly (sctiptbank, entitybank) is useful to me. When I am working with entities and scripting I always have to navigate to the script folder and make changes to the fpi, as well as making changes to entities and their textures.

What I would like is a button to delete all the dbo and bin files automatically, so I don't have to hunt them down and delete each manually. Someone posted a program that does just that, but if it were part of FPS Agent, that would be a few more steps saved.

It may also be a nice feature for the backup utility, to remove bin's and dbo's at the time of backup.

Best.

Only by tomorrow the FPSC Agent v1.4 will be released

- extra addition the option requested by xplosys to delete *.dbo and *.bin files in the user entity folder.

@xplosys
Is this what you need ?

by the end of the next week the next pro version will be ready with this option as well as fixing the last bug for 'run-time error 429'

@Seth Black
does it sounds good ?
