I bought Character Shop as a way to speed up the animation of my game models, but I'm running into problems. The character shop skeleton is scaled differently than my models. For example it has shorter legs and longer arms. Is there some way to scale the skeleton so that it will better conform to the model? I've tried ignoring the differences in scale and simply attaching the appropriate vertices to the appropriate bones and all it does is ruin the model's geometry when you try the animations. Anyone have any suggestions or am I stuck making models with all the same proportions if I wish to use Character Shop... If that's the case it was not a good buy.

Can't you scale your models instead of scaling the bones?

I am no guru on this subject, but the product description tells you that you can rig your models to any animation in char shop by scaling your model, so I guess that is how it works and not the other way around?

Well Deadhead, there are tons of things that annoy me on these forums. One of the things is people bashing other people for trying to help. Besides if you're so big about not posting anything sensible why do you post? You do not contribute anything to this thread either. . .
If its only to flame me, then send me an e-mail instead of hijacking a thread. Or did I miss a solution/suggestion from you to G Man?

I know the proportions of the bones in char shop are different, he told us that clear enough.
So the logical solution would be to scale your model to fit the skeleton in char shop, no? And if you look at the product description (I quote): The program contains 80+ professionally produced animations that can be applied to any humanoid mesh scaled to the fit the skeleton
Which clearly suggests that you have to scale your model to the skeleton in Char Shop and apparently no options are implemented to scale te skeleton to match your model. At least that's how I interpret it.
In my view a good enough answer to G Man's question to be worthy of a post in this thread.

So instead of flaming people add something to the topic of the thread next time, Deathead.
Happy Newyear none the less!

Sorry, I'm really sorry. I'm going through teenage hood so I have my Hormones going haywire and I just try to be really mellow to other users but I since I got hit by that golf club I get annoyed really quickly.
