I am currently using a very large temporary WAD file for the textures in my game. I was wondering if there are any tools to extract files from WADs or put files into WADs? I would like to use DarkMatter textures instead of the temporary textures I currently use, as they belong to Half-Life. Plus, the file is extremely over-sized, making the zipped file about 33 MB.

Yes, I have searched all over, and I just cannot find one. Am I just dense?

I think there is a program called Wally that will let you pack and unpack WADs. Its a free program.

It's also not too hard to find on the net using msn or google or one of those guys.

Have fun,
