If a message pops up asking if you want your firewall to allow the program to run, click "run" or "allow".

What kind of connection do you have? Do you have a router?

This has been posted about to death, try searching next time. I explained how to fix this on this thread: http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=104725&b=28.

Did you bother to read the entire thread? In my second post I gave advice on how to set it up to work over either a LAN or the internet.

If your using a router you might want to try pulling it out of the equasion. I was having the same problem, with my linksys wireless G router and when i switched it back to my older wired router i had no problems. I had portforwarding setup correctly and everything, I've emailed linksys about this numerous times and haven't gotten a reply, i've since switched to a belkin wireless router without any problems. Hope this helps.

Stupid people are like Slinkies, it's fun to watch them fall down stairs. And some times you need to give them a push.
