how can i see what file are available to me in a pak3 file from castle wolfenstine i thought dark basic pro came with a free program to do this ?

nope but you can use a program called packscape its freeware and i have no idea where its form

works like a dream, thats brilliant, thanks mate , do you need a pack file to load a bsp or can i just load a bsp file after unpacking it from the pak file

Winzip is better than everysingle packer... as all the pk3's are, are Winzip Compressed files (v7)

and you need to place your bsp and any files it uses within the pak file, remember though that you can only access levels in the main directoy, if they're in a subpath they wont load.

I pride myself that i don't kill...
well not without a good reason
