I had made a character by Poser software and made my game Movie that my own character is in it.But How I can to export my character to a file to use in the FPSC games ? I Know this manner :
1-) Export my character by Poser to .3DS .
2-) Import it to 3D STUDIO MAX and export it to .X .
3-) Import the .X file to CharacterShop and export it to .X again.
4-) Convert my .X file to a .X Character by Entity Maker.

This work that I want to do it takes a long time and I don't know that it will work as a character or not ... Do u know a better manner ?

Thanks ...

Can't use poser models in fpsc. Poser models are like 120,000 polys. Fpsc characters are 1500-2500 polys max. You can always make a low poly version of your high poly char, which I've done myself. You can also use Poser for your cut scenes. But you'll never get FPSC to run with a poser character imported.

You need to read about video games a bit more to understand whats needed from them. At this time you seem to have very little information, and before people start slamming you for not searching, I'd read all the stickies I could find. Get Nickys manual.

Good luck
Loc

No my friend ... You mistook.
I know that Poser make Low Poly characters but when u convert it to .3DS and export it .X by 3DSMAX it will be Low Poly ( it means that you can convert you'r high poly to low poly )
Even , I had made a character by poser and imported it to character shop and used it in the my FPSC ... But it takes a long time ... My question is it : There is a better manner that take a few time ?

...nope. Exporting the low poly model out of Poser, to Character Shop (I use FragMOTION), for rigging & animation, is your fastest, and only option.

Thanks,

Well... there are some, but they're not so good and characters should be built so they can be animated without problems. Such mesh optimizers just aren't programmed to care about it ;-p

Make games, not war.

Not sure how this even made it back to the top. Even the Low poly man nude, with an optimize modifier is to many polys for a game with much in it.

You better read the efrontier TOS. No part of their meshes can be used, in full or in part and are described as the "content" in that document. You can render all you want, but any low poly version better be a model of your own creation. Any character you use and try to optimize, is going to leave the same geometry(as optimization and "poly cruncher" will all attempt to close the same verts), so it'll be really easily detectable.

There are no shortcuts. Buy a model, buy a pack, or make your own. The free version of Poser 4(or 5 ,whatever) was never intended for this purpose.
