How do I get rid of the text that says "Picked up a weapon" or "Picked up AT9mm"? Sorry if this is a noobish question.

Remove the line in weapon.fpi that states:


and it should be ok.

The player doesn't pick up the weapon. I'll try to fix it.

EDIT: The above line of script you posted works for the stock guns, but not for the MP6 guns. Hmmm?

Sorry for the triple post, but I figured out a way to get rid of the weapon text:

Delete this line
and test the game. Voila, no text!

ahh, i just smashed the line containing that....

it didn't work because the script couldn't then go to state 10, so it jammed.

Well, just copy your code snippet, delete the text in my snippet, then port that over to weapon.fpi and other guns (MP6, MP9 & 10, etc.).
