I'm learning to do a lot of cool modeling and how to use materials in 3DS Max 9, as I just started with this program recently. I decided to mix a bunch of things together and create this scene... Dice at Dinner

I like my combo of 3DS Max 9 and ZBrush 3 as compared to MilkShape3D and LithUnwrap

pretty good man, I have two things for ya though. The dice edges need to be beveled a bit and the dots on the dice need to be round..

Cheers,
Dave

Its alright, could do with some:

>Global Illumination (With HDRi)
>Shadows
>Caustics
>Refraction in the glass

Things to work on, you manual might contain info on how to do this

Refraction in the glass is there, I followed a tutorial to make that glass and it included the Refraction Map...

Uhh... I would like some help on how to do HDR, Shadows, and Caustics in max
I think I might've thrown out the manual though... crap...

That is a very nice. I really like the goblet.

I have some things to add, but I would rather say after you post a new render with GI and HDRI.
