ATI has some compatibilty problems with X10, and is not meant to run on it. Go for an NVIDIA GeForce 8000 series card instead.

I only have agp and I don't want to spend 500+ dollars on a new mb, cpu and ram... I already have a pc with everything maxed out for fpsc x10 except the video card... Will x10 run smoothly or not? Is there an agp nvidia 8XXX card out there? I will spend AU $300 topps on a good AGP VGA... Thx.

I have a 2600 XT and tried fpsc X10 demo games, not yet the FPSC X10 program.

My experience:
Older drivers gave some problems, but with the latest, the demos run fine, with eye candy and fast. But can only give you a full detailed test when I get x10, I've been waiting for ages!
(today is the 6th January, it has been shipped on the 14th December and still not received anything)

Nope, and I don't think there ever will be. You'll need a new mobo i'm afraid!

I'm using a 2900XT and it works really well with FPSC X10.

Got a few freezes during test game to begin with but after I installed the latest ati catalyst 7.11 drivers and the Crysis ati hotfix everything is running great.

I was lucky enough to pick up one of these bad boys for £150 and the card out performs the Nvidia 8800GTX. I really can't recommend it enough.

I used to have the ATI 2600 Pro AGP card, and X10 would run; but it was very laggy. Mind you, I only had the 256 MB version; so I am sure if you had the 512 MB version it would be better.

I have since upgraded everything on my PC and use a nVidia 8600 GTS with 512 MB and it runs very smoothly.

I have an ATI HD2600 with 256mb on my laptop and 2gb of ram. The graphic card can go to 1024gb with hypermemory, i also have the last drivers and also did install old drivers and it still hangs. Any one has da same problem? Any has a solution (and don't tell me to buy a nvidia)?

Res: Windows 7, FPS Creator X10 Works like a charme, faster and better.
