Dang you Roxas... now I feel completely lame about my 'Dice at Dinner' scene. 5 Minutes!? Jeez dude.

Or you bloated a picture cropped from google images and pasted it onto the model

Seriously, you gotta teach me how to UV map in Max, and how to do those lights in the rendering...

Well, each model is basically 2 scaled cubes...Not that hard to make or unwrap in any application, I think.

Modelled and rendered in Blender. Free software ftw.

I know that, but 5 minutes? He had to custom make the texture to some extent as well. I can see it's for the most part a photograph but there was still some work behind it to get it to fit the model and all.

I dunno 5 minutes just seems fast, though I've never unwrapped anything in 3DSMax before.

Its probably just an exaggeration. It probably took about 20 mins or something. Time does fly when your having fun.

Well.. Here is tutorial!

1. Make Box :/
2. Chamfer it like in picture
3. Extrude one face
4. Scale the face smaller
5. Now extrude it kinda like in my picture to get the thing you put into port.
6. Now extrude it a bit to get hole into it
7. From back extrude a bit to get the blue thingy.

8. Get image from google
9. Unwrap fast the thing from side (Its only side unwrapped lol..)
10. Make some text in paint
11. Put place with that text
12. Render it with some lights
13. Done

So its bad unwrapped and i get the image fast.. But it was speed model and im pretty happy with results

Now make a crysis character with all the details and maps and all, in under ten seconds... If you do that you can hug Jon Fletcher as a price!

So you don't want to hug Jon Roxas? I'll tell him, and then he will hire some policemen to go and take you down...

I'm just kidding =P but yah if anyone would do a crysis character in under 10 secs... well no one will do it so lol
