As soon as I set ghosting on on a plane, my object's shadow disappears. Can anyone confirm this?

I had that problem, and I'm waiting for DBPro to stop bugging.

One tip that worked for me and the current compiler: ghosted objects must be pre-textured.

If any ghosted object with loaded texture appears on scene, any shadow casting will be off.

I'm still trying to determine what causes it specifically. I tried a couple of combinations this morning..

1. Left the object untextured, still got the glitch
2. Set shadowing before texturing the object, still got the glitch
3. Moved the ghosted plain well away from the shadowed object, still got the glitch

So, I can't pin point what makes it occur. Interestingly though, if I only shadow the rotor, and not the main body (two separate objects) then the rotor's shadow is ok.

While we're talking about shadows, anyone know why it's misaligned?

Perhaps the shadow/ghosting problem is caused because the ghosted plain is glued to the main body of the helicopter? Hmm.. I'll have to try that when I get home.
