How do i get light on the texture, not sure how to explain so have added a snapshot!

You'll need to make those parts of the textures a lot brighter then put small lights there. Check this out in the Level Design Forum http://fpscleveldesign.invisionplus.net/index.php?mforum=fpscleveldesign&showtopic=48

I think you just make the area you want illuminated white and everything else black (and any gradients in between), and name the file correctly and you should be set.

What Luke said, basically.
Make an RGB picture (not greyscale!) and make the portions you want lit white, and the unlit portions black. You can use shades between white and black to make it different levels of lightyness, like alpha maps. Then assignt the illuminationmap-shader to the segment part. Done.

Sorry to post on this again for the forth time in a row but i would like to show u guys one more snapshot and ask one more question!

Q; The line on the .FPS file

effect0 = effectbank\illuminationmap\illuminationmap.fx

Can that be change so I can try to use the bump map mytexture_N.dds as when i build with segment editor the walls com out black?
