Heres the wwII colt45 (1911) with modelpack6 arms.
I took the liberty of reworking the model and texture and fixing the script slightly. Hope you like it. Licence free for FPSC, please distribute it.

Before installing back up the following from /files/gamecore/guns/ww2/colt45/
hudicon.dds, gun_d2.dds ,HUD.x and gunspec.txt

Regards,
Simon

What gun are you planning to do next, Simon?
So far, I'm loving the .45 and the Commando.

I also love how this gun is so accurate to the one they used in wwii.

OK, but... It's still held with 1 hand (like glock from mp6). Shouldn't it be held with 2 hands like guns from mp5 & mp9/10, Jon's Beretta etc???

Actually, the military is being trained to use weapons with 1 hand rather than how the police/SWAT does, with 2 hands.

Didn't knew that, but at school at shooting range they'll be showing us the 2-handed "style"...

You must really have a study arm to shoot with only one hand. It is possible to shoot with one hand, but accuracy will suffer. Keep this in mind if your making a realistic game.

Where'd you here that? That goes against like everything I've ever learned about shooting a gun. I doubt it.

The combat pistol shooting technique taught by the British Army in WW2 was known as "point shooting" or "reflex shooting"
Much as I hate to link to a Wiki, it describes it well:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Point_shooting
Note the US army's two handed variation.
The choice for one handed firing was purely an artistic one - it looked cooler and more desperate and more in-keeping with the historical nature of the firearm.

I have to confess I have only ever shot pistols two handed, hell, I couldn't even keep the magum still with two hands let alone one. However I imagine there's a vast difference between target shooting and shooting in a combat environment
