a crate in return for something almost impossible right now, and if it does become possible, it wont be given away free, crate or not.

No offence but a crate is easily made-A cube with a wooden texture is common!

LOL, Lets trade a complex, never before achieved, engine changeing, revolutionary piece of software for 12 pollygons with the same texture on each side......(sarcasm)yeah that seems fair(/sarcasm)

Dude, what you're asking makes about as much sense as querying literary agents for a best-selling novel before you even write a page of the damn book!

Let me put it as simply as I can. If you're wanting underwater stuff, you're better off upgrading your comp and getting FPSC X-10. Because asking for an X-9 version of the feature you want when the new version's got it is kinda redundant. And even if it was possible in X-9, you're better off offering custom characters rather than crates. The average person can model a crate; good custom characters are a LOT harder to come by.

This crate is 3d, it has over 200 faces... I'm thinking different colour variations...

Oh it is 3d? well now i will consider this deal...hmmm

No but honestly of course we know it is 3d...and if it uses 200 faces...
well dont be proud of it...a cube uses 6 faces.
And maybe for some extra details it could end up in 45-65....
---EDIT---
Dont want to insult you...but just trying to explain how many polies a crate should have.

And i think it would be harder to make actual shaders for FPSC...than a crate.
So i guess you would have to raise your offer a bit higher than just a crate.

Ok

Allow me to drag you out of this gang bang.

Why not just you a good water decal with transparency so you can still see the environment above the surface. It may not be as grand as a shader but it will do the job.

As you've been so generous as to offer your crate, I've attached one of the best X9 water decals around.

The installer is in German but puts all the files in the right places for you.

Feel free to upload your crate to the community in return.

Oh, so now you're gonna complain about the details of the shader after someone's helped you?

You know, you could have saved yourself the trouble of being ridiculed had you searched the forum...but then, people these days are too spoiled to search or get the software that is capable of doing what they want.

Cheese Cake, that crate down on the beach in your scene needs more faces. At least 200.

TJR, for fork's sake! No one's gonna give you a water-shader, especially not for something as simple as a crate. Do you realise how much it takes to code a shader? More work than anyone'll ever spend on a crate-model for darn sure.

Okey...well...i was making a joke...but to really help you...is to give you some advice and tips..

Look! It is possible to make watershaders in FPSC X9...Alimpo proved that in his thread.
It looks very good, but in X9 it isnt possible to have the underwater look effect...
Not yet...and i dont think it will be.

Your best bet is to buy X10 and get better graphics than you would have in X9.
