How do you get to the second line of the syntax? I purchased this for my son and I am confused. Where are working on the "Hello World" loop. The manual says to type in:
DO
PRINT "Hello World"
LOOP

How do you get from the first line DO to the second line?

First time at this forum and I want to thank whoever makes it possible and those who maintain it.

... Press Enter(/Return) on your keyboard? Or arrow keys or use the mouse to select existing lines?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your question...

Thank you very much WindowsKiller. I do not know my screens apparently. I got that lesson to work. This forum has some unique things (like the probation period) that I like. I will try to gain more knowledge before posting again but can anyone lead me to the "dummies" section? Or where someone with no experience can begin?

you're here already
but seriously, after you done the manual, you should try a few tutorials.
I personally like the binary moon tutorial: here.
Try googleling for some tutorals if you're stil haveing trouble with dark basic. And don't forget that if you press F1 you'll open the help files, wich has a listing of (almost) every command used in darkbasic. I stil can't work without it

definitely try TDK's tutorials! The "built in" tutorials are not that good; I learned more coding in the Main Commands menu than that! But, once again, it would be easier to use TDK's tutorials.

Seriously, how do you make the little blue text come up below your message?
