Another ww2 weapon update. No texture this time, I'm a wee bit busy.
Colt Python next and then I'll make a stab at the Mas36 and Uzi (why does no-one ever seem to use the Uzi?)

Back the following in files/gamecore/guns/ww2/mp40/
HUD.x and gunspec.txt

Great man!
Really like the idea of putting hands on the stock ones!

And a question if i may...
Do you have any plans on the minigun?
Just wondering...

Well! thanks again for a great download!
And will put it for a good use.

It reminds me of Medal of Honor Frontline.

I won't have any uses of this, but thanks anyways.

The uzi with hands? I'd certainly use it, it's one of my favorites of the stock set.

This is a huge help - I'm using the MP6 hands for my project. I already put 'em on the MOSSBERG, with a modified animation from the Sporting 12.

@corky
I haven't tried it, but its technically be possible with the illumination shader specified in the gunspec file and a "_I" texture - however it would only work on those models that have the texture file specified in gunspec.txt ie. Not the new ones with arms.
@taco
Thanks for that, I'll try it out

This gun could really use a new texture though hint hint

I've got a problem. I've put this in the right folders and it worked the first few times, but when i put them down in the entity part next time they become parshally invisable? what can i do to correct this problem?

Thanks

Great work. Being I use the MP6 hands for my own weapons(so every thing matched), this really opens up more choices. I know we all appreciate it.

Side note- In my history, I've provided the UV map for the MP6 arms back when Simon's pack first hit the shelves. Useful for pinpointing the exact boundaries for new texture work.

i really don't like the mp40 much, always been a fan of the Thompson, but only the ones with drums, not stick mags. thats why i never made a wwII game with FPSC.

I'm not sure about the British in general but the Americans never really used the drum magazine in the field, it was too large and difficult to reload. So in general a stick magazine was a better choice for the model, as it was designed for WW2.
