AFAIK the only version with which the DGDK itegrates is 2008 (9.0) now (6.0 is definitely not supported), but if you can get over the fact that you won't have GDK wizards in "New project" dialog, I think it is possible to configure the project to run with GDK (though I didn't try that, haven't seen 6.0 for years actually).

I'm a little curious for your wanting to use VC++ 6. I thought that 2005 was a great product and 2008 had made better improvements over 2005.

Good point. Maybe we should note that it's possible to run both version side by side without conflicts. Both 2005 and 2008 have free versions.

Well and another point is that the setup to get Dark GDK is much easier with VC 2008 as opposed to trying to get it to work under 6 which it may or may not.

@Soulman - VERY TRUE! I uninstalled all my stuff to start over with the "new 2008" integration for that reason alone - this and that were messed, started clean - no worries now.
