i've read all the tutorials and help files and now i know the basics of DBpro but I still don't fully understand it, I even read blitz basic help files and still I sometimes don't know what the hell your guys are talking about. So what do i have to do to learn more on programming in DBpro?

when learning something new its best to find a goal to acheive.

If you dont set a goal or a acheivement mark to stride for then you will tend to meander around like a river.

a small game like tetris has most of the aspects you will want in any game created afterwards. A small arcade clone can help but each one has its own nuiances and problems to solve.

I say tetris because if u have no artistic skill or also just learning to start creating graphics its quite easy since its just a square colour block.

Im not saying you will sit down and write a game in one night but if you set goals eg: make a menu system or a highscore screen etc.. they will be easier to acheive.

sticking to the plan is another thing altogether

i'm making an FPS game now and it's going pritty well for now, i sometimes bump in to a problem and i try to solve it, if i can't solve it i just ask for help on this forum.
it's not that i can't do basic programming, i just want to get more knowledge of programming in DBpro like using DLL's and how to deal with complex stuff, things they don't handle in the help files.
