right none of my exe files will run unless i open the the run app in the startup menu i.e.

clicking the exe does not work but these steps does any idears

1. go to start then run

2. paste the exe path in ("C:\Program Files\Dark Basic Software\Dark Basic Professional\Editor\editor.exe")

3. press ok


thats the only way i can run any exe file i now its sommet in the registry that got messed up but i dunno wot any idears??

virus??

Update your anti-virus software

The Outside is a evil place to be, too much light, too much noise and too many distractions....
I went outside once and my FPS rate dropped to 5.

What version of windows are you running and what does it say under file types for .exe.

What does the menu say when you right click on the exe icon.
I get
Open
Run as
...

On a related note does anybody know how to make winxp open all files it doesn't have an association for in notepad.
The method that used to work on win98 doesn't, just one of many annoying winxp problems.

win 98 se and there aint 1 for exe when i try and make 1 it says already a file named that
