how do you make holes (buttercutter) in the segment editor? i know about the free thing, but i want to make my own that i CAN use in commercial.

create the shape and save in meshbank, (in seg editor), then run seg edit and click on CSG, select your mesh.....

Also select another random mesh and call that up too.....

save as normal then open up the .fps in notepad, and set the random meshes offset Y to -200000.....

Butter Cutter works in the editor only as far as I know.

thanks a bunch... i have just made my first csg, now i can have that hole in the floor i always wanted!

EDIT: I figured it out before you replied, by copying details from the trapdoor from fps-files. Thanks to whoever posted it

Not really, you'll have to open the segment's .fps in Notepad, and find the part about the floor, and set it's CSGIMMUNE to 0.....
