Okay, I'm having a new issue here. I recently got Bad Monkey's pack of robots and have used it with the MP9 weapons and the detention rooms. Yet when I saved the level, my map area went black. Since then I haven't been able to load FPSC properly.

The sad thing? I'm using 1.07. On an 8400.

Now, I've heard that 1.04's supposed to be the prime one if you're wanting a good building experience, but I'm not sure if I want to downgrade that far. What's the forum's experience on the updates--which one would you suggest using for the least stalls in development?

EDIT: Okay, while uninstalling 1.07, I found out what happened--the map editor locked up. And this isn't the first time it's happened during a save, but usually it's on a map that is from V1.0. This is the first time this has occurred on a fresh map that had never been saved before.

Yes, The map format changed in V1.03 or 1.04, those converted the older maps.

That at least makes sense out of the previous lockups, but that doesn't explain this latest one. It's the first map I've made since I reinstalled FPS on the computer, and it ain't even that complex--eight rooms in a 2x4 formation, designed to test the models I'd gotten. I'm going to try going to 1.04 for a while, to see if that helps any.
