Hi guys, I know it's been a while since my last post and all, and it's good to hear from you all. anyways, i have one little question. when you build your games how much memory is your PC packin? 900MB? 1000? 1.5 Gig? Because i'm only running off of 256MB, and let's just say things are going at a SLOWER pace in my department! Any reccomendations fellas?

...256MB is grossly undersized for building an FPSC game, Chris Redfield 2008.

I'd add as much RAM as your system (and pocketbook) will allow.

Personally, I'm running 1.5GB

I'm currently running 4GB, and I must say I have no problems at all.(When I had 756MB i had no problems running FPS Creator either. but most other games hated it)

256mb is what i'm packing.......

But i'll let you into a little secret....

If you have huge amounts of hard-drive space, you wanna right-click on the my computer icon, go to properties, advanced, performance....

Then go to advanced in performance, and at the bottom there is something to do with paging files, click on change, and edit file size to suit,( i have 1.5 Gb).

If this messes up your computer, it's your problem, so i'll take no responsibility if it does...

Ha! Umm Coffee Grunt, you do know paging the HD is a bad idea unless absolutely necessary. I'm packing 1gig and loving it.

256mb is what I ran when I started using FPSC when it first came out, even though the minimum system requirements said 512mb.

I am running 3gb now, but only because my other ram chip was flakey, so I pulled it. (I should have 4gb, but 3gb does great)

My video card has 512mb on it, but it uses some system memory too. That card has 1752mb at its disposal.

You can't have too much memory. Like the old saying goes...

"It's better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it."

Quote: "I'd add as much RAM as your system (and pocketbook) will allow."

Now, that's good advice.
If the advice is taken, then you should notice the difference right away, and you'll be glad you did it.
