I like it! It's nice to see you working on something other than a plane.

Nearly finished, Now down to a more respectable 3561 polys. Been a real pain to texture beig mainly olive drab. I tried looking around the web for images of camoflage but could only really find plain ones. Im sure they exist and if I find one that I like I may do another texture for it. Anyway Hoipe you like the progress so far.

I couldn't resist.. you said: "I tried looking around the web for images of camoflage but could only really find plain ones."

How about this one I whipped up in like 5 min?.. It's a seamless 256x256 camoflage texture. I think it's in the right color range as you need.

Cheers!

P.S. Shermans are more green than kakie.. the color you have is close to the russian tank colors... found this pic of a sherman..

the ones I have seen in person are actually darker green than this.

here's one closer to what I have eye-witnessed..

Sorry David, I should have said I spent ages looking for camoflage shermans. I found a few English versions with camo but no US ones. Whereas I am not too worried if the texture does not match up with an actual vehicle I do like them to be at least semi factual otherwise I would have just made one up. As for the green I found a few with the colour I used or atleast very close. I saw the dark green and was not that keen on it.

No worries Frap,.. here is one more 'color-matched' to your model.

Use it or not is entirely up to you,.. I'm just having fun.

Cheers!
