How would you take a character (say the fat zombie from model pack 4) and turn it into a statue? I've tried setting the Static Mode to yes but that makes it invisible, I've changed the texture in the properties but it always show the fat zombie texture, I've even put Immobile to 'yes' but it still moves (idle stance).

I want to take a character so it doesn't move at all and put a different (non UV mapped) texture on it. Can anyone help?

Was going to take a break... But I missed FPSC!

You could import into milkshape and that would get rid of the animation, export as .x and replace the previous .x file,a and then adjust the .fpe to the texture you want, and set it to static.

It's ok, I've done it. I took a copy of the fat zombie (6 files) then edited the fpe and changed 'ischaracter=1' to 'ischaracter=0' as well as changing to 'aimain=' and 'textured=' (removing the paths).
