Hay guys, I'm new to FPSC and i have just got x10. It is pretty cool! But i have some questions :

Do we know or have a time frame for when the Model Packs will be working in x10?

also is anyone getting this -

Is it possible to have AI characters in multiplayer?

How do you adjust the speed/bouncing of the players movement?

Does FPSC have a player minimap/map view?

Well that will do for starters, Thx in advance

1- No
2- This happens cause the window is an entity. If you want good windows then you must go to segments choose the window you want and place it on the wall.
3- No
4- Right click on the start marker
5- No... maybe with some very hard scripting it could be done though.

The problem is not if there isn't after-death-life. The problem is if there is no life in life!

Um no, he obviously used a segment, otherwise he couldn't have got the GSC effect.

No but it can be faked. Make an arena then copy the FPM under a different name, then make it single-player and replace one of the characters with a player start marker. After that, change the characters AI scripts, life amounts make everything except for weapons and health static, etc. It can be faked quite well, especially with custom scripts.

Dude, I can't even use the stock windows without it crashing.

Try this...

(1) Open FPSC X10

(2) Place a PreFab > Study Large

(3) Place your player marker in the study

(4) Now goto Segments Library > WW2 > Scenery > Window Grand and place one

It doesn't matter if it is the Fake window, the real window, or just the hole, I get the same effect... CRASH when I try to run the test mode!

Thx for the info

I'm finding it pretty stable, in fact that window is the only problem i've run into so far.

I have one more question, how would i set a swtich to lower/raise the water level?

Use the following snippet as the AIMAIN for an entity and put the entity's name in the IFUSED of the switch.

:activated=1:effectwaterlevel=100
:activated=0:effectwaterlevel=0

Of course, you can make the values what you want.

You could try the effectincwaterlevel=x and effectdecwaterlevel=x also if you want a gradual change.

The list of Conditions and Actions is listed on pages 84 - 90 of the FPSC X10 Manual. (but read the whole manual)
