Dark GDK / Installation

I recently downloaded Dark GDK and tried to install it. My problem is that it tells me:
1.That the visual c++ compiler isn't installed
2.The directx 9 sdk from august 2007
3.That I need to run microsofts visual c++ compiler at least once before installing.

I have done all of the above and it still says this. Does it matter if the microsoft programs are installed on a different drive from dark gdk?

Hmmm i dont know but doesnt it ask you to choose an installation path after these criteria are forfilled? If so just move the installation pack to the drive with Microsoft Visual C++ on run the installer and change the installation directory to the drive you want to install it on.
