Ok, well, i'm 15 and i've had pretty good experience w/ Visual BASIC then someone told me about Dark BASIC and so i'm trying it out... I'm pretty good at the coding, i just need to know how to make my own landscapes and 3d models and stuff cuz i wanna hopefully be good enough to make a great RPG game (i love RPG's, if anyone has any that they made I WANNA TRY IT OUT hahaha), but anyway. i also want to know what: Texture Maker, 3D Canvas, Cartography Shop, and DarkMATTER is. They sound like essentual tools in makin a game so if anyone can tell me what they are and how to get'em, i'll... uhh.. be very greatful?? lol thanks for reading and helpin me... if u do. haha :-P

http://www.darkbasic.com/c.php?f=about
This site covers all the 3d canvas, texture maker, etc.

As for 3d modeling check out

http://www.wings3d.com/
wings3d-free open source

http://www.swissquake.ch/chumbalum-soft/ms3d/index.html
milkshape-$20 bucks

landscapes can be done with cartshop, quark, and plenty of other map editors. Just do a search for bsp editors or something.

Hope this covers you're questions.

edit: also try a search for truespace 3.2 it's free
(royalties commercial,etc all free)

lol, I remember my first post, and I got a reply in like a few minutes also.Community is really good here, as long as you ask nicely, help will come from all around.

Post anything here if you have any questions or concerns.
