why not separate it i.e.

1st page
(Link) - Click here to clock in
(Link) - Click here to clock out

then have one button on each, where you can enter the staff number and you dont have to worry about which button is pressed, there is only one.

Hope that helps

No Andy, he wants to change the buttons so you use the Enter key to check in/check out.

I'd just set a variable, I.e.

It toggles the variable everytime you check in and out, and since you can't check in again after you've already checked in, then it would work. I think that's what you want.

Code Snippet
If ReturnKey() = 1

Select CheckIn
Case 0
[CHECK IN CODE]
CheckIn = 1
EndCase

Case 1
[CHECK OUT CODE]
CheckOut = 0
EndCase
EndSelect

EndIf

Won't he want it in PHP, though? Either that or he was trying to grab attention by putting "php problem" in the topic heading.

lol, didn't realise he put PHP Problem, in any case, PHP can't interact with the keyboard so it can't be done lol.

Anyway, so why is this in the DBP forum?

Locked - this has bugger-all to do with DarkBASIC. Take it to www.phpbuilder.com or something.
