Also, another question, however very different.

I remember seeing a method of controlling a .x object by placing a tiny sphere in the center of it, and hiding the object...

I was wondering if there was any example you guys could give me as I forgot... again

What do you mean "controlling"?
You can just use the "move object" commands to move objects.

I meant that there was some way to put a sphere in the center of a model, and then rotate / move the sphere, so that the model would do the same

Well, you would just rotate the model based on the X,Y, or Z angle of the sphere.

For example,




Practice makes perfect. But if nobody is perfect, why practice?

That doesn't make much sense as any commands applied to the hidden sphere could be applied to the model instead - so why bother?

There must be some other reason for doing this...

If I remember right it worked well for the collision of the helicopter it was in...

Hey I was wandering how to turn an object so it dosen't just turn but so forward it relitive to which direction it is facing
