so i bought x 10 but i was woundering if my graphics would work its a nvidia geforce go 7900 I already have directx 10 so dont yimmer yammer it wont work because it came with me computer preinstaled from alien ware my manafacture so------ do i need a new graphics card btw its a laptop jackout by alienware lol lol yay canada rules

Yes, you need an NVIDIA 8000 series.

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT get one that is less than 512mb if you want to run all the features without major problems.

Your best bet right now is the 8800gt.
The GT is the lowest priced 8800, and the 8800 is the best of the 8000 series.

The 8800gt costs around $229 at Tiger Direct, but you might find one on sale cheaper somewhere else.

Dude, the topic of cards for X10 has been covered and there is even a sticky about it.

idk if u can put graphics cards in a laptop....atleast an upgrade one...sorry. oh, and it wont work with dx10. . its partially able to run dx10, but it wont run the dx10 games...aka fpsc x10

oh ya i got a new computer with windows vista ultimate and a nvidia 8series 8800 ultro whhhhhhhooooohh because it would have been more expensive to get the new parts for my Aurua Alien ware (about 2,500 canadian) my new one cost about 3,954
