Hi everyone i need some opinons i just order patch maker and install maker pro for my new games on vista using x10 i am in search of a good video editor i have gotten alot of money for new software i have narrowed it down to:

PINNACLE STUDIO 10.0
ULEAD VIDEOSTUDIO 11.0
SONY MOVIE STUDIO+DVD

Its hard to choose please help...

All of the ones you mentioned are good for cutscenes. (Sony has a long history of digital video)
If you just need it for basic editing then get the cheaper one, because any of them would do fine.
If you are using X10, then you should have Vista which should have a Video Editor with it (Windows Movie Maker).
It's probably not for commercial use, but for hobby games..."Then share your movie via the Web, e-mail, or CD."

There is also Magix a very professional cheap software but somehow a little bit harder to use than other tools for beginners but It's really cool.

You want to get Sony (Vegas) Studio & DVD. Pinnacle is cheaper, but way more crappier, and ULEAD is usually slow software. I have used Vegas for about 2 years now, GREAT program.

Temporarly away from the Phoenix Sentry.

I'm with Crispex on this one, 'Sony Vegas' is truly a great video program and well worth getting.
