Uhh, copy it to your gun model, and save it? Or model the gun around the sights...?

I think it would work better with a picture of your ironsight.

But if you can do iron sights with the 3d model, GOOD ON YAH MATE!!!

Ironsights are just apart of the gun, which needs 3d modelled. It terms of actually looking down the sights well I dont know lol. But its not a built in feature.

Ok... In your gunspec file, under GUN settings at the bottom add zoommode = 1
range = (what ever you want it to be)
Then add at the bottom of GUN Visuals add:
zoomscope = (your file name)
weapontype = (depends on what type of gun it is), 3

hope this helps

I was Jacko but I changed my name.

In the gamecore\guns\nameofyourgunhere folder. Replace nameofyourgunhere with the name of the gun you want to add the ironsights to.

Place your newly made ironsight scope1.dds in FPSCreator\Files\gamecore\guns\ww2\tommygun open up the gunspec text file.

In GUN Settings, add the line : zoommode = 1
In GUN Visuals, add the line : zoomscope = scope1.tga

And you are good to go, pick up the thompson and rightclick, there it is! Your new ironsight! Though i don't know how to reduce the zooming.

This was just an example, you can do this to whatever weapon you like.

Good luck!

make the background transparent. Right now it is white. You must save the ironsight with a transparent background as a .dds file.

This is what it should look like in the end.

Besides that, why does the ironsight you have look absolutely nothing like the weapon you are using? The weapon is a commando, yet you have a ironsight as if it was from a AK47 or something.

You can use paint.net, gimp or whatever image editprogram. In paint.net, just use the eraser. In the other programs, i don't really know.

Just save the picture as a .dds when you save the picture. In the drop down "save as type"
