I have decided to stay solely on IGD.Net and my forums because most of the time, the topics that I post there are answered within an hour and sometimes within 5 minutes. With 13 members on my forums, I haven't really had the sense of community that I hoped I would have, so I've decided to do this:
In a few weeks, I will release Emergence for free. It won't be available for download anywhere except to the members of my forums. If you would like to play Emergence, you have to make an account and post at least 3 times in order to download it. It's not really that bad, is it? I'm just trying to get a sense of community on my own forums. A community that will give great feedback to games and ideas. I know that people will say that it is impossible to get that, but I have to disagree. I feel that sense of community on IGD. I'm not trying to say that everyone here doesn't give great advice, and can't make a good community. What I'm saying is that there are way too many people who are only worried about themselves here. That's just my opinion and can be argued and such. There are people who are mature, and can give helpful advice as well as make some great stuff.
Tristan Craft has been updated a bunch of times on the Gunn3r Games forums, because I feel that's where it needs to be the most recent.
This may seem like a ploy in order to get people to go to my forums, and maybe it is, but I feel that it is necessary to have a constructive, meaningful community. That is why I have decided to leave the TGC forums to spend my time on the IGDN forums and my forums only. This was a good place for me to start, but now I have to move on.
