sorry, I know you must get messages like this all the time and I know it must be really annoying but after I find out where to start, I think I should be alright from there.

Yes, I'm new to the computer game making world. I need to make a game as one of my majors at school, so I'm gunna give it my best go. I've purchased DarkBasic Pro. through my school and am wondering what else I'll need to get started?

What other programs should help me make the best game I can? I have 2 years to make it and am willing to put in as much effort as possible.

Please give me advice. I know we were all beginners once.

Check out the stickies at the top of each forum board. They will tell you everything you need to know.

They also include links to tutorials but they vary in the experience level required to follow them.

The tutorials linked to below are for people who have absolutely no programming experience whatsoever, and are suitable for DBPro users as well as DBC.

If you know what you are doing though, you might find them a bit ABC and will find some more suitable in the Tutorials thread in the stickies on this board.
