Hi guys

Any Vista users out there making games with x9? How does it run for you? It's a little unstable for me. I'm attempting to completely uninstall FPSC and then reinstall, however it wont let me uninstall it, just get a "Not responding" error in the control panel. No icon and only 6mb aswell :S How can I get this off my computer!?!

Also, could someone suggest which FPSC update works the best, as I know people have had mixed esults with each. I'm basically looking for one which is prett stable with good lighting and fog.

Thanks for your help!

I have it, and it runs fine, no problems at all. Its Stable, and runs alot smoother then on XP.(Administrator Mode, Vista Ultimate X64)

My project, site is far from done though.

FPSC runs fine on Vista for me. I've used V1, V1.07 and V1.08(beta) and they have all worked fine but I think V1.07 is the best as 1.08 is still a beta.

Thanks guys. Still doesn't solve the problem with the uninstall. It just crashes with this message:

An error occurred while launching the setup.
The remote procedure call failed.

Any ideas?

Remove the files manually, and remove the Registry entry manually?

Remove the files by just deleting everything?

Fixed it. Used a dloaded uninstaller which removed everything including entries in the register.

Thanks for your help! I'll try rebuilding it now

Out of curiosity, do the vista users here run on compatibility mode?

I do, Ive set mine to XP, but it doesnt really make a difference, but you must make sure that it is running on administrator mode.
