Dark GDK / Visual Studio complains that the DarkGDK projects are not for vc2008

What the topic says =/ I installed in the correct order, I checked that it installed the project files in my documents correctly, i think it did.. I see dark gdk, dark gdk 2d, dark gdk 3d .slns but none of them will open with vc 2008. What am I doing wrong?

Nope, I get the same error every time:

'xxxxxx.vcproj' cannot be opened because its project type (.vcproj) is not supported by this version of Visual Studio.

even despite the fact that im opening .sln files, not .vcproj

Are there any solutions for this? I dont know how Id go about reinstalling, seeing as visual c++ and the dx sdk seem pretty embedded in my system now =/

I'm using Visual Studio 2008 Professional without any problems at all.
