hey there everyone,

Ive always had a hard time texturing but I've learned alot in the past couple days. So i thought id share my progress.

Here is the object id like to texture. Just a simple cartoony robot design nothing special.

I want to texture it using a blueish hue for the metal. With some designs and abnormalities in the metal(rust, stains, and scratches)

here is what i have so far for the diffuse

Now be gentle cause this is my very first uv map but if any of you has some good knowledge on the subject please enlighten me to some of your secrets. Of course compliments are welcome too

From what I can see the UV Map looks nice, but could we also see how it currently looks on the model?

C n C welcome but be gentle it is my first uv map.

I'm by no means a UV Map expert, but imo it looks good

That looks really cool especially for a first try! But do you notice the little symbol on his chest isn't as gritty as the rest of the texture? I think if it had the same amount of grit then it would be even more realistic.
