Anjin it's a new paintjob but it's the same engine underneath.

Eidos likes to stick demos in boxes and label them 'gold editions' and sell them for $5. No indication anywhere on the packaging that it's just a demo. One of the cheapest publishing moves I've come across-- far lower than even EA has sunk to.

Eidos is one of the worst publishers ever to disgrace this planet

Send in the hitmen, I've already got a bunch of mad music industry officials at the door, maybe they'll start a fight

Demo's in Boxes and calls, them gold?

the last Gold Purchase i made was Tomb Raider TLR Gold along with Hitman Gold ... both came with additional levels which weren't in the original - so how can you possibly say thier gold editions have less?

Eidos are da bomb (^_^) EA is afraid of thier power ... hehee
oki well maybe not but Eidos is the UK's largest publisher and the worlds second largest behind EA - they have some fanstatic support staff and they actively support even the oldest of games they've published.
They were also the first UK based Games Industry based company to go PLC and have a FTSE index (which ain't a small achievement)

They also still sell games even thier Gold editions in full boxes with manuals (something which is becomming a lost art now it seems)

so you care to comment before Lara & da 'itman pop a cap in yo ass!

Gold, Platinum, whatever. Eidos is prone to cheap tricks. I'm sure they're all just 'excecutive human error' of course

Yes, I will continue to dis Eidos, and if you have a problem with it... it's your problem

I like Ubi Soft other than the fact that they screwed up a lot of foreign releases of Morrowind and never released a fix for it.

I dunno its pretty easy to be banned from any forum, so i wouldn't judge him even if he were banned from one forum. So i'm banned from over 15 forums around the net (for language)... so thats not somthing to judge Anyones opinion on.

@Solidz:

Capcom does rule, but they make hard games (looks at his damned Breath of Fire dragon Quater, and thinks about how long hes been playing.).
If you ask me, Ubi Soft is jus fine, if theres a company to hate, hate Square America, Ted Woosely has taken every good Squaresoft(or SquareEnix as it is now known) game and ripped the shit outta it. If you wanna hate a company hate them.

lol i've only ever been banned from a single forum - that being RGT which is within around 12-13years of internet use, so you can come to your own conclusions about that

and i'd probably still be in there if i hadn't be so mouthy to Guy
