1) Lemur V2 is not officially released. The best you're going to find is the source release of the last build that we were willing to give out.

2) Lemur V2 is going to be released with a commercial game, so you'll need to buy the game to get Lemur.

There's still a ways to go with Lemur, but we're moving along to get it out for everyone to enjoy.

Free doesn't necessarily mean poor quality... Firefox, Open Office, Gimp, Blender, Thunderbird etc...

Very good point! I found EFX very good!

I'm guessing Lemur is free with the commercial game because a MOD FPSC source can't be sold, I think

Quote from the FPSC Source:

Quote: "Used Under Public License:
1. You CANNOT make 'game creation' or 'level editor' software with this code
2. You CANNOT make a 'game engine' for the purpose of selling it as an engine
3. You CAN make a GAME with this source code for the purpose of selling it"

but it does not clearly say, you are allowed to sell a Mod
A game which brings the mod with it, is ok (i think)

@Butyouman

But EFX doesn't have wtaer physics, timer based fps, tonnes of weapons updates and the other stuff that Lemur has.....

Right now, it's lights and water, no offence, Nighthawks done waayy better than I could do, but it's still buggy, doors don't work, etc,etc....(that's only the latest version, I know)...

EFX is a graphical update, making FPSC shinier for us, Lemur is a full blown frenzious polish, that can also work on low-spec computers, as I can't use EFX, 10fps is awful and my PC is practically screaming when I use it....

I must say though, it looks great and I think you did a great job there Nighthawk, it's just Lemur'll work better with my PC...

You can't actually say that before you have tried it though. Sometimes computers just hate stuff for no apparent reason and won't work properly. Besides, how bad is your PC? I thought you said you had an 8400 GT?

ive tested it on 3 different computers, *low end, high end, mid end* and quite honestly its broken down like

High end machine: 32 fps *no complaints*

Mid end machine: 32 fps, *really iffy tho, put a full room of entities, and maybe 1 dynamic item and bam 10 fps.

Low end Machine: 10fps automatic start. no matter what.
