This is my first real animation, and I made the model myself in sketchup(also textured it myself!) It's a probe kinda thing thats gonna be positioned in front of the player and sorta be like a half life 2 scene. Lemme know what you think about it, and let me know if there's anything I can do to improve on it besides everyhting . (and no, im not saying im gonna make half life 3 ,im just makin it to show my friend) Thanks for lookin!

actually that was pretty neat. I loved the textures but you could maybe work on making your animation more fluid because it seems to jerk sometimes.

Hmm, when I played the animation there wasn't any jerkiness apparent. That aside I'm really bad at criticism because I NEVER notice problem areas until after someone else has pointed them out. To me this looks great and seems ready for game usage.

What about it McGrimace? Where you planning to do anything else with this at this point?

Looks good to me. I didn't see any jerkiness at all. The probe did pause, as if determining where it should move next, which is what I would expect a robotic probe to do. Nice work for a first anim.

it's really great!
one problem with it though is that the metal probe section actually comes completely out of the tube it's in, then moves back up. Well, i guess it could be held up by a magnet

thanks to deathead for the sig! please Click on it!

I did notice the jerkiness as BenDstraw pointed out but I think it was fitting for a robotic object. Good job
