So, I was going to make a script that actually ran in the background and edited some things, while the main (DBPro written) engine did most stuff. As far as I know, this is what scripting is supposed to be used for.

However, I can't have a loop in my script code, since that won't let the actual game code run.
Neither can I have a function that I call every turn in my main (DBPro) loop, because that resets all global variables each time the function is called (I've no idea why it does that, since the variable declarations are outside the function I'm calling).

A bit of advice on this would be appreciated
