Hi,
Does ObjectSizeX return the full width or just the radius?

Thanks.

Scaling screws it up though - and there is a hidden undoc'd version like in DBPRO where you can pass a "Actual size" flag I thnk - so scaling taken into account - note this doesn't help DarkPhysics. You need to MAKE MESH FROM OBJECT (After you Scale Object) dbChangeMesh(SameObject, NewMesh); then create your physics entity....

I like to use preset units in max that match dbp, then model according to relative scale between objects in max, then when loading in db_ I never scale anything.

About $3500 afaik...

That's why I'm pretty happy with my $25 copy of Milkshape3D

@monotonic?!?!? You use 3dCanvas? I could never get that thing to texture right or anything... You? I WANTED to get into it - but I just couldn't make it work for me...should I try again?

@kBessa - Milkshape - I like it to!

According to the guys on the Amabilis forums, it is pretty easy to texture object using the unwrap tool. But, I haven't had a play with that yet. I just like how easy it is to create nice looking models, plus the amount of tools you get for the money is great. Although, Milkshape is a nice modeller for the money too, personal preference I guess.

Much good work is lost for the lack of a little more.

MAYBE... But Maybe Not!

All I mean is - if they ARE BOTH good tools - maybe I should have another look so I can get the BEST of both. Ok - you didn't mention texturing inside 3dCanvas - so maybe I spend more time learning the model creation stuff, and maybe I find its faster for a few things... or AWESOME... then I just export and then "Dress it up" in MilkShape or something else...

I know its supposed to have a Good Animation System. And there MUST be a way to texture in there I'm just missing.

Thanx I'll Try to check it out this weekend.
