I don't understand the IQ of these mods here.. I think it was once said that "you give somebody a little bit of power and they think they own the world." Well I find this to be true, now that I've encountered the moderators here at your beloved forums.

IanM says to follow the rules for a team request in order to post them, and so I spend an hour writing up the story, showing the progress, and providing insight to a revolutionary game that would help the community.... AND THEN good 'ol FredP comes in saying that it isn't allowed at all. Seriously... what is wrong with you guys? Do you not hope to achieve greatness and recognition to this Game Developing Software Company you all worship? Is it jealosy? I dont know but its aggravating.

What can asking for a team request possibly do to hurt the community? As a matter of fact... it would be helping the community but you guys are too stubborn to acknowledge the matter. I chose this forum because it has great potential, but you fellows are holding it back from possibly achieving greatness. Maybe you'll see that one day... so continue to act as if you are Barney Fife on the Andy Griffith Show until you realize that allowing me to help you can only strengthen the community and help it progress even further.

ANYWAYS... now that I am done ranting. I want you to know I have purchased EVERY model pack, program, and developer tool that TGC has to offer. Isn't this the kind of customers you guys pray to have in your community? If so.. then why am I subjected to prejudice everytime I attempt to reach out and help people? I figured it was because I am an achieved and over-accomplishing black man in the midst of over sea individuals. Yes, black men can be talented on computers as well.

So... I will start out small. Instead of requesting to pay a team to assist me in creating a magnificent game (and getting locked everytime I do so), I will hold a contest.

Sorry you have been frustrated by your attempts to post so far.

As has been stated already, there used to be a team requests board here, but we were forever locking threads because ten year olds were getting out of bed after dreaming that they had written the world's best and most unique MMORPG.

After thinking up some half-assed storyline in two minutes flat and announcing they were the CEO of some fantasy company, they insisted on telling us how good it was going to be.

The problem was that they now needed some help in the form of a team... to do the programming, the graphics, the sound effects, the music, the models - you get the idea?

So, it was decided that team requests would only be allowed if they were more than just a concept. If screenshots (other than a menu screen done in MS Paint) were shown and a demo for download made available to demonstrate progress made so far then a request would not be locked.

But, having said that, this was for the Dark Basic programming side of things - not FPSC. As a non-FPSC mod, what IanM said is how we would apply the rules there.

The FPSC boards have their own moderators who understand the products and their users and as such, the rules applied here can be different. As we don't normally moderate here, (but can do if an FPSC mod is not available), we may not be aware of some of these subtle differences - why would we need to?

And, as FredP said in another of your threads, the AUP hasn't really been updated since FPSC was released which although is nothing to do with us mods, I can only apologise for.

Unfortunately, we can't tell from a forum post what anyone's colour or creed is, so that's stretching it a little. We just assume you are human - just like us mods actually!

Put the request in your signatures ( you see that banner below my post, thats a sig) and add a link to a web page, then add posts to the boards and people will see the sig go to your web page and help you with what you have, thats it, its just the rules of the boards, but you can advertise in your sig, so just do that. also make something and put it in the showcase, put links to your site from that as well, just use your head and market yourself in a lateral fashion.

In addressing the team request yet again by the original poster...
No team requests. No exceptions. If I make an exception for you then every other person who ever tried any attempt at one will blow a gasket.
Now I don't know if you just didn't read all of the other posts I made about this or you just don't care.I will try one more time.
1. No team requests.
2. That was brought about due to necessary changes in the rules of the FPSC forums because every team request we used to have around here turned out bad.
3. I even gave you a place where you could post your team request (oce again, they have a team request board at http://www.blackdracogames.com )
Now that is as simple as I can make it.The folks at BlackDracoGames welcome team requests there. We don't allow them here...not even in your sig.

Just noticed...

If you grasped that then why did you try this again?
No team requests. This is not something I made up in my head. That is the rule.

Please have mercy and use the search function.
