Here is a screen capture of on of the demo's I found in DBP

as you can see, It's not as it should be.
2d drawing works great but as soon as there's any 3d or text involved it's like it overheats or something and goes balistic.

- the collors are all red and bleuish and flikkering
- texures are in lines and paterns
- vertices get swapped around, they stay at the same point but they all move by just a little.

any suggestions?

Have you been banging your head against the computer casing at all?
Maybe you knocked something out of whack. hehe

Have you updated your video card driver lately? It's worth a shot and shouldn't cost anything.
What is the bit depth of the screen set to?

"Have you updated your video card driver lately? It's worth a shot and shouldn't cost anything"

no, but I'll try. I'm pretty sure it won't work since the problem stays after a reinstalation of windows

edit:
nope it's stil ugly. should I buy a new graphics card?

edit:
here is a picture of my videocard btw
link GeForce 1 (this is pre-prehistoric)

"What is the bit depth of the screen set to?"

the default. I can't check t much since the print command is also affected.
if you are taling about windows, then it's 32 bits

Try removing the graphics card (TURN OFF PC FIRST) and then reseat the card into it's slot. Sometimes there is a bad connection. This can cause all kinds of crazy graphics problems especially in older machines. Also remove and do the same to the monitor cable. It can cause similar problems. If problem persist, click on Start/Run and type in dxdiag then run. You can use this utility to test out your pc to try and figure out what's wrong.

GeForce 1 - you should be lucky it runs anything at all. No wonder you are having problems. I doubt nvidia driver even supports that card anymore.

@ Spotaru
I'll try and see what happens

edit:
The problems stil there. In dxdiag the problem only occured when doing the Direct3d-enhancement (or Direct3d-acceleration, my computer is dutch). but that's becouse that's the only test with 3d in it.
Would buying a new graphics card fix the problem?

@ spooky
Well I did get a driver from the website (it has a auto detect gizmo). I think they just put is in an archive

Yes. The one you have probably isn't DX9 compatible, has maybe only 32 or 64MB of on-board memory and has quite a slow GPU on-board. As such, textures will probably be affected and you will get on-screen tearing.

Any new AGP graphics card (if you can find one) would be infinitely better than a GeForce 1. The problem now is that new ones will be PCI Express and not compatible with your motherboard.

A second hand one from your local computer shop, or eBay would be your best bet, but ccnfirm that it's an AGP card before buying.

You could as a test, set the screen bit depth to 16bit in the game and take a look at the texture images with the demo - converting them to 256 colours and 128x128 size and see if that improves things. A new GFX card would be easier though...

I thing my curret card is just busted. Becouse I can run the game normal for a while, but after that it goes balistic.

If it has a GPU cooler fan, you could take it off and give it a good clean. Oil it if it doesn't spin freely. Check that it spins when you put the card back in.

If a fan is fitted and it is spinning - or it only has a heatsink and no fan then yes, it's probably goosed!

I know - 3d glasses - I was thinking that too! I love the Pretty blue pc gards - so much cooler than green!

another thing about heat/fan etc... Move other cards away from it. But I'm with TDK - sounds a Bit old.
